The Specials are planned episodes produced outside of any series. Since BrickMotionStudeos, the main producer of the series, is already producing the holiday specials for Ninjago and Kingdom Rush, it's unlikely they will produce any special in the near future. If any special would be made in this time, it would be made most likely by Elefant Studios or SP-4004, however, none of these companies confirmed any special yet.
